Medical treatments for anxiety can help but we recommend anxiety therapy because it can be the most permanent. Therapy can help you understand the root causes for your fears, teach you problem-solving techniques to help you relax in times of stress, and most importantly, seeing your situation from a new perspective. When you think about something you automatically feel an emotion. However, when you are able to change the way you think, you can change the way you feel.

The style of treatment you can expect:

  • We focus on your medical health first. Our therapist will request blood-work be done through your healthcare provider to rule out any underlying issues.

  • If our client does not feel comfortable talking yet, our therapist will use energy psychology modalities such as Reiki, or Hypnosis.

  • If our client wants to process the effects of the trauma we use CPT, also known as Cognitive Processing Therapy. 

The amount of time each session:

  • Our sessions are about 30 minutes long for individuals and 60 minutes for couples.

  • A session of Reiki and Hypnomeditation is about 15-20 minutes.

  • Hypnosis sessions are about 30-45 minutes.

  • CPT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, can be 30-60 minutes.
